What ION Gamma is all about
ION Gamma's goal is to allow gamers to create a "file" listing all of the video games that they play online, and to regroup all of the connection information (username, server name, or anything else relevant) in a central location. This way, when someone wants to play with another gamer, all that's needed to do is to point them to their ION Gamma file. No more searching around for codes or technical details!
People are free to use ION Gamma simply as a code storage system if they like. It's possible to keep codes private, or even an entire file, so that only the player can consult his list and decide who can contact him.
Some plans to more easily connect someone with his friends are now being prepared.
Supported games
The eventual goal is to support all video games with an online component, no matter if it was released for PCs, handhelds or consoles. Since ION Gamma wants to allow everyone to list all of their online games and connection codes, all platforms need to be included! As a result, the list of games we support is ever-growing to accomodate everyone.
If the game you're interested in isn't listed, don't worry! Use the "Submit a game" form located at the right of any page such as this one to tell us about it, and we'll add it to our database as soon as possible!
What does ION Gamma mean?
"ION Gamma" is a contracted form of "Interordi Networked Games Manager". As it indicates, it's a component of Interordi.com aiming to manage the online codes of gamers worldwide.
The staff
The current staff consists of the following people:
- Dr. Cossack: project's lead and core developer
- Mugen: games manager and community moderator
Other people will be added later on to expand and maintain the list of supported games, along with managing the community of users.
